Naomi Shinkins was 2nd female at the New Forest CC Boxing Day 10, Jamie Whitcher 6th at the Lee Valley Velodrome accumulator and it was another big day at the Gorrick Brass Monkeys off road event with a win for Julia Hamlyn and Sam Humphrey and 3 other podium places for the Bournemouth Cycleworks Race Team riders.
Time Trial
Naomi Shinkins kept things festive (but still aero) at the New Forest CC Boxing Day 10 with the second fastest female time of the day. Conditions were as good as they can be in December with only light winds to contend with on the Sopley rumble strip (P311). The fastest lady, Julia Shaw (multiple national TT champion and Common Wealth bronze medallist), was in a league of her own clocking 24.21 but it was a tighter competition for the rest of the podium places with Naomi clocking 26.03, Louisa Cooper (BJW) 26.17 and Lucy Gadd (Storey Racing) 26.37.

Track
Jamie Whitcher raced the track accumulator at the Lee Valley Velodrome in London. Still officially a Youth B at that stage, Jamie raced up an age category in Youth A, a good test to see how winter training was going and to race with some of the GB youth and junior squads. Jamie was 4th in 24 Lap Scratch race, 9th in the Elimination race, 9th in the 1km Dash and 5th in the 55 Lap Points race. A great collection of results got Jamie 6th overall in a very competitive field.
